He moves in mysterious ways?

Me, my wife, my 4-year-old son, and my 2-year-old daughter had dinner at my in-laws house the other night. My in-laws are Catholic, my wife is a liberal non-denominational Christian, and I am an Atheist (my in-laws do not know). Before dinner, the news was on, and the relief effort for the China earthquake was being discussed. Over 20,000 dead, including many children. Reports of children, as young as my children, wandering the streets in search of their mommies and daddies, not yet realizing that their parents were crushed to death and they will never see them again. Men, losing their wives and children; women, losing their husbands and children. Children paralyzed, cut, burned, etc. We all discussed how terribly sad it was. Then, dinner was served. We sat and thanked God for going out of his way to provide our fat asses with broccoli and pork chops. Isn’t God wonderful?

The sun rises on the evil & the good were told, which pretty much means you accept the myth without any evidence much less proof and alter your life and live according to the edicts laid down by a bunch of humorless old men over the centuries and give them 10% of your money and in return you get into a mythical place where everything is perfect ……after you die.

But I’ll give you the same promise for just 5% and you don’t have to change your lifestyle of give up your Sundays. I’ll even throw in a couple hundred virgins from among the non-believers to be your hoes. Such a deal.
