I’m 30 weeks and have extreme back pain is it ok to use a heating or massager while in my third trimester

Yes, I just fell yesterday on ice and had a concussion and lots of back and neck pain. I went to my obgyn last night to check on the baby and she suggested I use a heating pad for the pain.
