I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts. Several years ago, my husband and I moved to Costa Mesa, California, after he received a job transfer. I left Boston feeling incredibly hesitant. Besides having a group of friends, in Boston I had found the best services and medical treatment centers in the area. I was afraid taht it would take me an incredibly long period of time to find the best-quality services and medical care my family desired when we moved to Costa Mesa.
When we moved from Boston, one thing I missed the most was the treatment I had received from my old chiropractor. He and I had developed a great relationship, and he had an extensive knowledge of my previous sports-related injuries. My chiropractor was able to easily work to treat my problems as a result of his knowledge; he was able to easily tell where my spine and joints had come out of alignment.
After months and months without a chiropractor in Costa Mesa, I finally called my Boston chiropractor in tears. I told him that I had no clue where I should go to find good chiropractic care in Orange County. In tears, I told him that I had a fear that there wasn’t another chiropractor out in Costa Mesa that could work so intuitively with my spine’s issues.
My Boston chiropractor began to laugh after he listened to what I had to say. He told me he had realized that he had forgotten an important piece of information, and he apologized for it. Apparently, one Orange County chiropractic clinic was created by a student that he had gone to school with. My Boston chiropractor told me he would dig up the name, phone number, and website of the Costa Mesa Chiropractic center, and would send it to me immediately.
I received the email the following day, and immediately called to schedule an appointment with the Costa Mesa chiropractor. I went ahead and visited the website, and when I realized that this chiropractic treatment in Costa Mesa, California also followed the Corrective Care (or Pettibon) philosophy I became incredibly excited. This chiropractic treatment theory believes that effective chiropractors should also work to strengthen the muscle groups surrounding the joints and spine; this way, mis-alignments are not as likely to take place in the future.
The Costa Mesa chiropractic treatment center and I have an incredible relationship. While I did love the treatment I received in Boston, I’ve found that my new chiropractor in Costa Mesa offers equally wonderful treatment. The service I receive has made me feel much better about our move to Costa Mesa, California. I was lucky to find the best chiropractic treatment in Orange County, California. Now I need to find fewer services and medical providers in the area.
